Mocha CFW is a custom firmware widely used by people without Haxchi or CBHC. It is commonly used to install and launch homebrew directly from the System Menu, although it has other features as well. Mocha can be launched using Indexiine.
Features
- fw.img less Custom Firmware
- signature patching and region patching for both RedNAND and SysNAND in one application
- SEEPROM and OTP redirection to SD card
- Custom Launch image if it exists in your SD card (drive:/wiiu/apps/mocha/launch_image.tga)
- Settings to disable/enable individual patches
Installation
Download the latest release from Dimok’s Github or from the Homebrew Appstore. You may add a custom logo if you want but it is not needed.
Launching
Mocha CFW can be launched from the Homebrew Launcher, Haxchi, or CBHC. The latter two require a Virtual Console DS game to be installed, although they provide easier access. CBHC can also automatically load Mocha on boot, making it very convenient, but also providing the highest bricking risk.
