Wuphax replaces the Mii channel of vWii with one that starts SD:/boot.elf
.
Installing Homebrew Channel via Wuphax
The most common use of Wuphax is to install the Homebrew Channel on the vWii, as homebrew can then be directly booted without this.
- Download the HackMii Installer.
- Place the boot.elf file in the root of your SD card.
- Open Wuphax in the Homebrew Launcher.
- Press A to take a backup of the Mii Channel and install the hack.
- Open the Wii Menu.
- Open the Mii Channel
- Run the HackMii Installer and install the Homebrew Channel.
- Exit the Homebrew Channel after the installation is finished.
- Open the Wii U Menu.
- Open Wuphax again.
- Press B to restore the backup of the Mii Channel, so it can be used normally again.
