This is the root of the Wii U's filesystem.

This is the root of the Wii U's filesystem. Unlike on the Wii, this directory is entirely virtual; all filesystems, including the main one, are mounted under [[:/vol]]. On the other hand, [[IOSU]] devices are still registered in [[:/dev]] (not something like /vol/dev), which is also completely virtual.
